From Málaga Airport it is the A-45 over Las Pedrizas and the A-92 through the Loja gap, 135 km in about 90 minutes, and then the driver takes the ring road towards the south of the city and comes off close to the Palacio de Congresos. No regulated centre, no hill, no barrier: a couple of wide streets by the Genil and the car stops in the forecourt. It suits business travellers arriving for a congress with a suitcase and a laptop, and equally families who want an easy base.
