Transfers and day trips from Málaga cruise port
Private transfers and day trips from Málaga cruise port: Granada and the Alhambra, Nerja, Ronda, Córdoba, Seville. Fixed prices per vehicle, driver waiting outside the terminal, back before you sail.
Málaga is one of the busiest cruise ports in Spain, and its terminals sit at the foot of the city a quarter of an hour from the airport. Passengers use us in two ways: for a transfer between the ship and a hotel, the airport or the station at the start or end of a cruise, and for a private day ashore, with the driver waiting while you see Granada, Nerja, Ronda, Córdoba or Seville and bringing you back before the ship sails.
The driver meets you outside the cruise terminal where your ship docks, in the pickup area, with a sign with your name. Give us the ship's name and the docking time and we watch the arrival as we would a flight.
Meeting point: outside the cruise terminal where your ship docks, in the pickup area. The driver holds a sign with your name.
Fixed prices from Málaga cruise port
Day-trip prices are the return fare: outward and return journey with the same driver, per vehicle, VAT included. Waiting time at the destination beyond the free period is quoted when you book. Driving time is the sum of both legs in normal traffic; add the hours you want ashore.
Within Málaga: airport, city centre, station and cruise port
Short journeys between the airport, the city centre, María Zambrano station and the cruise terminals. Same fixed price in either direction, per vehicle, VAT included. For a hotel in the centre the driver takes you to the door or to the nearest point allowed in the pedestrian old town.

A day ashore, door to door
Most ships give seven to ten hours in Málaga. Granada and the Alhambra are ninety minutes away, Nerja and Frigiliana an hour, Ronda an hour and a half, Córdoba an hour and three quarters and Seville two and a quarter. Book the destination as a return trip and tell us the sailing time: the driver drops you where the car can go, waits or returns at the hour you set, and plans the way back with a margin. The return costs exactly double the one-way fare shown on each route page; if you want the driver to wait at several stops, ask for a quote.
Ship to hotel, ship to airport
If Málaga is where your cruise starts or ends, we take you from the terminal to a hotel in the city or anywhere on this site, or from the terminal to the airport or the station. For an early boarding the day after landing, many passengers stay in Nerja or Torre del Mar the night before and we bring them to the port in the morning. Prices are the same as from the airport, and luggage for a fortnight at sea fits in the estate or the minivan.
Timing around the ship
Ships rarely dock late, but disembarking can take a while, so we allow for it and the first fifteen minutes of waiting at the port are free. On the way back, we aim to have you at the terminal at least an hour before all-aboard time; for Seville or Córdoba that means leaving the city in the early afternoon. Tell us your all-aboard time in the notes, not just the sailing time, and the driver plans backwards from it.
Frequently asked questions
Can we do Granada and the Alhambra from the cruise port in one day?
Yes, with a ship in port for eight hours or more. The drive is ninety minutes each way, so you have around four hours in Granada; book Alhambra tickets in advance with an entry time and send it to us so the pickup is planned around it.
Where exactly does the driver wait at the port?
Outside the cruise terminal where your ship is berthed, in the pickup area at the terminal exit, holding a sign with your name. Málaga has more than one terminal, so we confirm the meeting point once we know the ship.
What happens if the ship docks late?
We track the ship's arrival and the driver adjusts. The first fifteen minutes of waiting at the port are free, and on a day trip the driver also recalculates the return so you are back with a margin before the ship sails.
Is a deposit or card needed to reserve?
Neither. You reserve with your name and contact details only, and you pay the driver at the end of the journey, in cash or by card in the vehicle.
What if my plans change?
Change the time or the address, or cancel altogether, at no cost up to 24 hours before the pickup. The link is in your confirmation email; for anything later, write to us and we do what we can.
How much notice do the long routes need?
Two days for anything beyond 150 kilometres: Seville, Córdoba, Jaén, Úbeda, Almería, Roquetas, Mojácar, Sierra Nevada, Lanjarón and Guadix. The car and the driver are set aside for most of a day. Nearer destinations are usually confirmed the same day.
