Transfers from Málaga train station to Nerja, Granada, Seville and beyond

Málaga-María Zambrano is the end of the high-speed line from Madrid and the hub for regional trains along the coast, and it stands in the middle of the city, ten minutes from the airport. If you arrive by AVE and your holiday is in Nerja, the Costa Tropical or Granada, or you are heading to Sierra Nevada with skis, a private transfer from the station costs exactly the same as one from the airport and starts at the platform exit.

Who uses the station transfer

Travellers who fly into Madrid and take the AVE south, which reaches Málaga in under three hours and continues, with us, to Nerja in one more. Skiers who prefer the train to a connecting flight and want a car waiting for the climb to Pradollano. Passengers on the coastal regional line who need to get to Antequera or the Caminito with luggage. And the return: people finishing a week in Granada or the Axarquía who are catching the AVE north rather than a flight.

Where the driver meets you

María Zambrano has one main hall at street level above the platforms. Long-distance trains arrive on the lower level and passengers come up by escalator into the hall; the driver stands at the top of those escalators, by the exit to the taxi rank and the Vialia shopping centre. If you have booked a pickup for the return journey, the driver drops you at the same entrance, on Explanada de la Estación, with time to check in for your train.

Same prices, same rules

Every destination on this site has the same fixed price from the station as from the airport: Nerja €95, Granada €199, Seville €279, Sierra Nevada €259 for a sedan, and so on down the tables below. Fifteen minutes of waiting are free at the station, after which the driver waits at the rate in your confirmation, and long routes over 150 kilometres need 48 hours' notice as usual.
