Taxi Málaga Airport → Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya
Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya is a mountain hotel in the upper part of Pradollano, built at the foot of the pistes so you can ski down to the door and back up again. Being above the village core, it is quieter than the square, with an alpine feel, a spa and views straight down the valley.
Prices by vehicle
| Vehicle | Total price (VAT included) |
|---|---|
| Sedan 1-4 passengers, 3 suitcases. | €259 |
| Estate 1-4 passengers, 5 suitcases, skis or golf bags. | €311 |
| Minivan 5-8 passengers, 8 suitcases. | €389 |
Single journey, VAT included, on toll-free roads; the AP-46 tunnel at Las Pedrizas is optional and settled separately if you want it. A return is exactly twice this figure. Starting at the train station or the cruise port changes nothing in the price.
Drop-off
The drive up the A-395 ends by passing through Pradollano and continuing on the upper road to the top of the resort, where the hotel stands beside the slopes. The car reaches the entrance; in heavy snow the driver goes as far as the road allows and helps carry ski bags the last metres.
To the top of the resort
The journey is the Sierra Nevada transfer, 165 km and around two hours from Málaga Airport by the A-45, the A-92, the Granada ring road and finally the climb up the A-395. Where it differs from a transfer to the square is the last few hundred metres: the driver continues through Pradollano and takes the road that goes on climbing to the upper part of the resort, where the Rumaykiyya stands at the foot of the pistes. The hotel is the last stop, so the car arrives at the entrance and the luggage comes out at the door.
Ski-in, ski-out and what it means for arrival day
Being at the top means the slopes start at the hotel, which is why many guests want to arrive early enough to ski the same afternoon. From a morning landing that is realistic: two hours in the car and you are at 2,100 metres with a good part of the ski day still ahead. In the other direction, on departure day the drive back is two hours downhill and then the A-92 and A-45 to the airport, so a mid-morning flight means leaving the hotel before dawn, while an afternoon flight leaves time for a last run.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a taxi from Málaga Airport to Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya?
The fixed fare to Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya is €259 for a sedan carrying up to four people, €311 for the estate with the large boot and €389 for the minivan for five to eight. Bags, waiting time and VAT are included and the motorway carries no toll.
How long is the drive from Málaga Airport to Vincci Selección Rumaykiyya?
Around 120 minutes for the 165 km, on dual carriageway for almost all of it. Summer Sundays, snow on the mountain roads and city festivals can stretch that; the driver allows for them when he sets your pickup.
What happens if it snows heavily on the day of my transfer?
In winter the A-395 can require chains or close for a while after a heavy fall, and the resort publishes the road status. Your driver checks it before setting off and adjusts timing or route accordingly. We keep your flight tracked as usual, and if the road is shut we let you know as soon as we know.
Does the car get all the way up to the hotel in winter?
Normally yes: the road through Pradollano to the upper resort is used by hotel traffic and the driver takes it to the entrance. After heavy snowfall it can be slower or restricted, and in that case he gets as close as the road allows and helps you with the ski bags for the last stretch.
Is a sedan enough for two skiers?
Two people with a case each and two ski bags fit, but it is tight. The estate car costs a little more, €311 instead of €259 one way, and takes the equipment without squeezing. For four skiers with full kit, the minivan is the comfortable option.
Where exactly will I find the driver at Málaga Airport?
Inside the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, standing with a board that shows your name. Every arriving flight, Terminal 2 ones included, walks out through that same hall, so there is only one place to look.
How much notice do the long routes need?
Two days for anything beyond 150 kilometres: Seville, Córdoba, Jaén, Úbeda, Almería, Roquetas, Mojácar, Sierra Nevada, Lanjarón and Guadix. The car and the driver are set aside for most of a day. Nearer destinations are usually confirmed the same day.
