Taxi Málaga Airport → Royal Hideaway La Bobadilla
Royal Hideaway La Bobadilla is a country resort built like an Andalusian village, alone on its own estate of olive groves and holm oaks between Loja and Villanueva del Trabuco. There is no town around it; the point is the silence, the courtyards and the countryside. Málaga Airport is its natural gateway, roughly an hour up the A-92.
Prices by vehicle
| Vehicle | Total price (VAT included) |
|---|---|
| Sedan 1-4 passengers, 3 suitcases. | €115 |
| Estate 1-4 passengers, 5 suitcases, skis or golf bags. | €138 |
| Minivan 5-8 passengers, 8 suitcases. | €173 |
Single journey, VAT included, on toll-free roads; the AP-46 tunnel at Las Pedrizas is optional and settled separately if you want it. A return is exactly twice this figure. Starting at the train station or the cruise port changes nothing in the price.
Drop-off
The driver takes the A-45 through Las Pedrizas and then the A-92 towards Granada, leaving at the Salinas exit. From there a signposted estate road leads through the fields to the hotel gates and on to the main entrance, where the car stops and the driver unloads your luggage.
An hour of motorway and an estate road
La Bobadilla is one of the shortest transfers in this list: 80 km and roughly 55 minutes to the Loja area. The driver takes the A-45 north from Málaga, climbs over Las Pedrizas and joins the A-92 towards Granada, then leaves at the Salinas exit rather than at Loja itself. From there a country road and then the estate's own signposted access lead through olive groves and holm oaks to the hotel gates. The only part that needs local knowledge is that last stretch, which is where a driver who has been here before saves you from wrong turns.
Arriving at a country resort
There is no village and no taxi rank at La Bobadilla, which is precisely why guests book a transfer for the arrival and another for the departure. The car drives up to the main entrance inside the estate, the driver unloads at the door and the resort's own paths take over from there. For a wedding or a group event we send several cars from the airport at the same time, and for a couple arriving late the road is quiet and well signed at night. The return works in reverse: the driver enters the estate to the hotel door at the agreed time and the airport is under an hour away.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a taxi from Málaga Airport to Royal Hideaway La Bobadilla?
The fixed fare to Royal Hideaway La Bobadilla is €115 for a sedan carrying up to four people, €138 for the estate with the large boot and €173 for the minivan for five to eight. Bags, waiting time and VAT are included and the motorway carries no toll.
How long is the drive from Málaga Airport to Royal Hideaway La Bobadilla?
Around 55 minutes for the 80 km, on dual carriageway for almost all of it. Summer Sundays, snow on the mountain roads and city festivals can stretch that; the driver allows for them when he sets your pickup.
Why stop in Loja instead of going through to Granada?
Some travellers choose Loja for a rural hotel or a wedding at La Bobadilla, others for walking or fishing in the Riofrío area. At 55 minutes it is also the shortest Granada-province transfer we run, so a night here then a short hop to the city is a comfortable way to break a long journey.
Is La Bobadilla far from Málaga Airport?
No. It is 80 km, roughly 55 minutes, almost all on the A-45 and A-92, with the fixed price of the Loja route: €115 for a sedan one way. The last part is on the estate's own road, and our drivers know the turning from the Salinas exit.
Can you bring wedding guests from the airport?
Yes. For events at La Bobadilla, each vehicle carries up to four or eight passengers at a fixed price per car, and for a large party we send several cars that leave the airport together and arrive at the hotel entrance at the same time. Ask for a quote with the number of people and their flights.
Where exactly will I find the driver at Málaga Airport?
Inside the arrivals hall of Terminal 3, standing with a board that shows your name. Every arriving flight, Terminal 2 ones included, walks out through that same hall, so there is only one place to look.
